Grape variety: 100% Gamaret
Alcohol: 12.2% alc./vol.
For the very first time, in 2021, we harvested Gamaret after Pinot Noir. By doing so, we allowed the grapes to ripen a bit longer on the vine, resulting in an even more complex and deeper wine this year. The use of a slightly larger portion than usual of whole bunches during fermentation also contributed to giving the wine a little more fullness, resulting in lovely ripe tannins.
This vintage therefore offers a lot of fruit and a very juicy character, but with a spicy and peppery structure that is even more assertive than in previous years.
