Do I absolutely have to book?

Reservations are required, as places are limited and the picnic cabarets are prepared according to the number of people expected.

Our working philosophy is to use raw ingredients, fresh from the week and cooked by our team, from pizza dough to desserts, including smoked fish, which requires rigorous planning and is only possible if the number of reservations is known. We promise that if we have extra picnic cabarets available certain weeks, we will notify you on our social media.

If we are a group, how is it possible to book?

We offer this same picnic cabaret formula for groups of 9 to 12 people.

Contact us at [email protected] or at 819-587-4825 ext. 210 to make a group reservation.

A one-off payment will need to be made to secure the booking, a payment link will be sent to you by our Group Reservations Manager.

We do not take any groups of more than 12 people.

Can I register on a waiting list?

On our reservation system, after choosing a date, you will see the option to “put yourself on the waiting list” if no time slot is available.

Do I eat in the field or at the pavilion?

It’s your choice, you can make the selection at the time of booking, take note of the following information:

Tables inside the pavilion give you peace of mind about the weather; however, the table is allocated to you for 2 hours. Nothing stops you from enjoying the outdoors afterwards.

• The outdoor tables are free installations, meaning you choose your dream location and enjoy it as much as you want.
• If you choose to settle in the heart of our beautiful flowery valley, we have a few picnic tables with parasols. However, we cannot guarantee their availability at the time of your arrival. We therefore recommend that you bring your picnic blanket and chairs if necessary.

In case of rain, for people who have selected space in the field, we have umbrellas; we will also try to accommodate you inside or a formula to take home will be offered to you.

What does the Cantine Pollens & Nectars 2024 season menu look like?

Under the care of our faithful chef Jonathan Boerboom, the cuisine for the 2024 season will have a family resemblance, with certain favorites from past years and new inspirations: smoked trout, Vietnamese carpaccio, nasturtium Caesar salad, pizza of the day, pasta fresh and fine fruit tart are some of our current ideas.

Over the weeks, the menu will evolve, because the garden will offer us new vegetables and as we work with whole animals, the pieces used give way to new cuts.

Note: You cannot bring your own alcohol due to our restaurant permit.

Vegetarian and gluten-free option available at time of booking.

Are there other dishes available on site?

Of course, we will have extra options to enhance your meal in the canteen as well as a great cocktail and wine list.

How does my visit take place?

When you arrive, head to the entrance to the Canteen where our team will welcome you. You can then take a seat in the pavilion or in the field depending on the selection made at the time of reservation.

The first service will be done at the counter directly at the entrance to the pavilion, while the second will be done by our team in order to receive a pizza just out of the oven!

Do I have to bring my chairs?

If you choose to settle in the heart of our beautiful flowery valley, we have a few picnic tables with parasols. However, we cannot guarantee their availability at the time of your arrival. We therefore recommend that you bring your picnic blanket and chairs if necessary.

What happens if it rains?

You can modify your reservation up to 48 hours before your arrival if the weather does not seem to be good.

In case of rain and for people who have selected space in the field, we have umbrellas; we will also try to accommodate you inside or a formula to take home will be offered to you.

How can I modify my reservation?

Picnic cabarets are non-refundable, because places are limited and the menus are prepared according to the number of people expected.

However, you can move your reservation free of charge within a maximum of 48 hours before the date of your reservation and directly via your text or email confirmation according to your preference.

We are 4 friends who want to eat at the same table, do we have to make the reservation all at the same time?

Yes ! To ensure you are at the same table, ticket purchases must be made in the same transaction. We must know the groupings of people in advance via reservation.

Can I reserve more than one table?

The reservation system allows you to make a reservation for up to 8 people. However, you can see if other picnic cabarets are available at the same time and make a second reservation.

However, we cannot guarantee that a neighboring table will be available inside. If you want to have a big picnic, your best option is to set up outside with your chairs and blankets. You will enjoy a beautiful view of Devil’s Mountain with friends, and you can stay there as long as you want.

If I want to add people to my reservation, how do I do it?

You can buy picnic cabarets online. If your reservation is outside, you can choose the best place to sit together.

Si votre réservation est au pavillon, nous ne pouvons garantir des tables à proximité car les gens choisissent eux-mêmes leurs sièges à leur arrivée. Notre équipe fera de son mieux pour vous accueillir dans l’espace disponible. Maximum 8 personnes par table, nous consulter pour un groupe de 9 à 12 personnes (nous n’acceptons aucun groupe de plus de 12 personnes).

Si j’essaie de modifier ma réservation pour une date ultérieure et qu’il n’y a pas de disponibilité, que se passe-t-il ?

Si vous ne pouvez pas y assister, il est de votre responsabilité de trouver une autre date disponible ou un remplacement pour votre réservation. Nous vous recommandons de visiter fréquemment le site de réservation tout au long de la saison, car des places se libèrent souvent durant l’été. Pour un cas de force majeure, contactez-nous.

Puis-je apporter mon propre alcool ?

L’alcool n’est pas inclus dans le prix d’achat. Sur place, une équipe vous guidera pour ajouter des cocktails, des vins et des boissons. VOUS NE POUVEZ PAS APPORTER VOTRE ALCOOL EN RAISON DE NOTRE LICENCE DE RESTAURANT .

Est-il possible de venir simplement pour un cocktail ?

Oui ! Comme nous disposons d’une licence de restaurant, vous devez commander un petit apéritif sur l’ardoise « snacks du jour » afin de prendre un verre. Seuls les espaces extérieurs sont disponibles pour déguster un verre de vin ou un cocktail.

Les animaux sont-ils acceptés ?

Oui, vous pouvez venir avec votre chien, tenu en laisse, et uniquement en extérieur.

Il est tout de même important de considérer qu’il y a plusieurs visiteurs sur le site, cela pourrait donc rendre votre animal nerveux.

Les repas sont-ils servis dans des contenants compostables ?

Les repas sont servis dans des plats réutilisables ou compostables, vous disposerez d’espaces désignés pour jeter vos déchets ou déposer les plateaux.

Jusqu’à quelle heure pouvons-nous rester sur place ?

Jusqu’au coucher du soleil (et ça vaut le coup !)
